Connecting Music with Non Profit work

Nancia is on a mission to empower women in the music and film industry. As a community activist and feminist she uses her knowledge in music & film to mentor young girls. She teaches them about the music and film business, shares  key and helpful information about how to move within the industry, offers resources to assist with quality of life, and most of all, she has volunteered to be a person to call on for sound advice.

In collaboration with several non profits in Boston and surrounding cities she works to help shine a light on important programs that excel and serve girls and women in her community. Some of the organizations she has worked with are Dorchester Arts Project, Beats By Girlz, Girls Rock Boston, and Bridge Cyph to name a few.

In addition, Nancia worked with Mass General Hospital & United Way to help raise over $500,000 for their My Giving Helps campaign. She partnered with First Church to increase awareness on the issue of homelessness and the overpriced cost of living, and volunteered her voice to sang inspirational songs to 200 inmates at South Bay Correctional.  She supports the LGBTQ community and performs for Pride events every year!
